Tim Buckton - Resort Manager
Tim joins Tadrai from Perth, Western Australia, with 11 years hotel management experience and a wealth of knowledge gained working for Intercontinental Burswood, Novotel The Vines Resort & Country Club and Rendezvous Observation City Hotel. More recently, Tim held the position of Resort Manager at Sonaisali Island Resort, Fiji and is perfectly suited for the prestigious role of Resort Manager at Tadrai, Fiji's newest luxury five-star property, which he believes is the most unique resort in the Pacific region. He looks forward to making your "dreams come true" and welcoming you to Tadrai for the experience of a lifetime.
Alex Dutta - Operations Manager
Alex has previously held management positions as Front Office Manager, Recreation Manager and Chief of Security at Sonaisali Island Resort, Nadi and as a Duty Manager at Hideaway Resort, Fiji. He also has a vast experience in managing a variety of management roles such as Senior Duty Manager, overseeing all aspects of daily operations in this business and as such brings an enormous wealth of experience to the Operations Manager role for Tadrai Island Resort.
Sian Van Pletzen - Food and Beverage Manager
With 10 years experience in the hospitality industry, Sian has exceptional knowledge and skills she has honed working at leading restaurants and hotels in Perth, Western Australia, including The Melbourne Hotel, Sheraton Hotel, Joondalup Golf Resort and Zafferano Restaurant. Sian has a passion and understanding for food and wine that will ensure every meal you experience on Tadrai is perfectly matched with award-winning wines from Australia, New Zealand and around the world. Sian and her outstanding team look forward to welcoming you to the stunningly set, Na Vatu Bar & Restaurant.
Auadh (Soni) Ram - Chef
Auadh's joins Tadrai ex Aitutaki Pearl Beach Resort, Rarotonga, Sonaisali Island Resort, Radisson, Novotel and Shangri-La Resorts - Fiji. The Resort's boutique size - 5 only de-luxe spacious villas, allows Chef Soni an opportunity to cater to individual Guests. Soni deliver's crisp, clean, sensibly light cuisine in keeping with the Resort's tropical location and climate. His signature lobster, presented in coriander and orange butter, is caught locally - and delivered fresh on demand. Soni also conducts Cooking Classes, an interactive opportunity to participate in the preparation of your own "catch" (often coral trout) as Chef expertly demonstrates his use of organically grown island herbs and aromatic spices. Set menus - also change daily.
